Herb Antes
Herb Antes of East St. Louis, was a collector of tattoo memorabilia. Bert Grimm knew him from his St. Louis days and said that Antes did some tattooing. Herb sported a backpiece of Long John Silver done by Bert. Back piece photo courtesy Temple Tattoo Museum.
